Dead [Women] Poets Society in Leeds

Dead [Women] Poets Society is on tour… next stop, Sheffield! Join them for an evening of resurrecting dead women poets in the beautiful city of Sheffield. This time they’ll be hosting two fabulous Leeds-based poets: Squad Core Team member Malika Booker and Lizzi Hawkins. Their chosen poets to resurrect will be announced here in the lead-up to the event, so watch this space….

The main event will be followed as ever by the popular Dead [Women] Poets Society Open-Mic, for which they welcome poets and performers of all and no genders to the stage! The only rule: for every poem of your own, you should also read/perform one by a dead woman or non-binary poet.
