Jessica is a Squad grad and poet and has been a member of The Writing Squad board since the autumn of 2017. She writes about the personal and political referencing her cross cultural experiences which range from a dual heritage upbringing in the North of England to a year spent gaining a Trinidadian twang in Jamaica. She has a degree in anthropology and archaeology and an interest in coaching, mentoring and arts consultancy. Jessica has been published in Modern Poetry in Translation’s ‘Origins of the Fire Emoji’ issue and is currently based in Lisbon, Portugal.
