Jessica Mitic
Jessica is a playwright, radio writer and producer. She has written two afternoon dramas for BBC Radio 4; Superstar Me and Lost or Stolen the latter formed part of the Original British Dramatist Season. She is a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme, and twice won the Write Now prize for New Writing at the Brockley Jack Studio Theatre where she had two full length plays produced (Chocolate Bounty and Skinhead). She has been selected for the EastEnders Shadow Writing Scheme and the CBBC New Voices Initiative. Jessica also directs and produces for BBC Radio 4, she won the 2016 BBC Audio Drama Award for ‘Best Drama’ with her production of Charlene James’ Cuttin’ It, and produces the popular Radio 4 comedy, Dot by Ed Harris. Jessica is on the Writing Squad Board.
