
Jessica Mitic
Jessica is a playwright, radio writer and producer. She currently writes for BBC Radio 4's iconic continuing drama series, 'The Archers'.
Other original work for BBC Radio 4 includes; Superstar Me and Lost or Stolen the latter formed part of the Original British Dramatist Season.
Jessica is a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme, and twice won the Write Now prize for New Writing at the Brockley Jack Studio Theatre where she had two full length plays produced (Chocolate Bounty and Skinhead).
For television, Jessica has been selected for the EastEnders Shadow Writing Scheme and the CBBC New Voices Initiative.
Jessica previously worked in the BBC Audio Drama department, as a Development Producer. She won the 2016 BBC Audio Drama Award for ‘Best Drama’ with her production of Charlene James’ Cuttin’ It. She has produced a range of genres from comedy, to sci-fi action to historical dramas, working with new and experienced writers.
