Writing in Glass

The National Glass Centre in Sunderland is an exhibition gallery that also offers glass making demonstrations and studios for glassmakers and students.

Following a visit, Squad grad Chloe Elliott suggested a workshop which she delivered over several weekends with glass artist Anna Selway. We started out by making simple standing pieces using strips of glass then proceeded to work with glass ‘pages’ which were fired and then bound.

This project was delivered with Culture Sunderland and gave us the opportunity to work again with long term supporter and friend of the Squad, Laura Brewis.
