Laura’s New Wakefield Night

Current Yorkshire Squad member Laura Potts is starting a monthly poetry and music night in Wakefield this October called Rum & Reason, at Festive Fusion Restaurant & Bar on Wood Street. The idea is to fundraise and have fun while doing so. Each month will be open to poets, musicians, performers, comedians and anyone else who would like to share their talents.

A bucket will be placed at the bar. All donations received will be given to a local charity – a different charity each time. For October, our charity will be the RSPCA (Leeds and Wakefield). Food and drink will also be available from the bar throughout the evening.
