If you could cure thousands of a fatal disease by experimenting on a single child, would you do it? Sincerity’s adaption of Mark Ravenhill’s creepy monologue The Experiment explores the dark tale of several manipulative, silver-tongued narrators. From a pitiful father with an ill partner, to traumatised twins, to a cunning businessman, which perspective could you agree with, if any? Focussed on expanding Ravenhill’s uninviting text through original writing, Sincerity presents a show unlike any other adaption by exploring the many strands of story left bare in the original.
