Our Girls – Pearl and Ruth

Current North East and Yorkshire Squad member Pearl Andrews-Horrigan and Ruth Kelner have had scripts chosen by Julie Hesmondhalgh to be one of Take Back Theatre’s evening of short script in hand plays exploring what it means to be a girl or young girl today.

Pearl’s play, A Bloody Disgrace, is about period poverty and Ruth’s Bad Girls shares what best friends talk about when no one else is listening.

The evening is part of Hope Mill’s third birthday extravaganza.
