GemArts Masala Festival: Strictly Spoken

Masala Festival is teaming up with Strictly Spoken to present a stellar line up of North East spoken word poets exploring themes of Identity, South Asian Heritage and Inspiration.

Squad member Prerana Kumar, a spoken word artist living in Durham, is on the lineup. Winner of Say Owt Slam 2018 and named Verve Poet of the Slam at Unislam 2019, her poetry revolves around love, loss and occasionally, a healthy dose of nyctophilia.
