Far Out at Omnibus Theatre

An extract from Libby Williamson’s play Far Out will be shared as part of Omnibus Theatre’s Engine Room night on 21st Feb.

FAR OUT:

Three space adventurers, Alma, Jed and Ellis, search for a new habitable planet inthis wacky, queer sci-fi play! The year is 2150, and the Earth is nearly burnt out.The one remaining business, Core Corporation, has sent out thousands ofspaceships to find a new home for the human race. Our three pilots dodgecomets and black holes, collect data and chat to aliens; it’s all a bit mad, thisspaceship thing. As their friendship grows, so does the question: what do they doif they actually FIND a planet? And is the human race worth saving at all?
