Chloe & Jay Selected for Poetics Lab

Chloe Elliott and Jay Mitra have been selected to take part in Spread the Word’s Poetics Lab.

Poetics Lab is a programme for young people living in London. Sessions with experts help develop writing skills as well as an understanding of the publishing industry and career opportunities available to poets.The programme leads to a showcase in November 2025 and will create work for the 2026 Deptford Literature Festival.

Both Squad grads of course, and Chloe is a member of the Writing Squad Board.
