Chloe and Beth Selected for New Poets Prize

Two Squad writers – Chloe Elliott and Beth Davies – have been selected by the Poetry Business as two of the four winners of the 2022 New Poets Prize. This year’s judge was Anthony Anaxagorou. The winners will receive mentoring and editorial support from the Poetry Business, and their work will be published in The North 69 in winter this year.

Their winning pamphlets will be published in June 2023 under the New Poets list. Beth’s pamphlet is titled The Pretence of Understanding, and Chloe’s, Encyclopaedia.
