Rory is a writer and editor based in Widnes, Cheshire who specialises in literary short fiction. His writing mainly explores desire, social expectations, masculinity and the search for intimacy.

He is an active member of the Writing Squad and currently Editor and Project Manager on Dear Stranger- a narrative chain writing project involving twelve Squad writers. He was commissioned by Pinwheel to write and perform poetry for The Rugby World Cup responding to the theme The Power of Together and performed his poem at a civic reception in Warrington. His story ‘Under Red Light’ is upcoming in The Writing Squad anthology which is scheduled to be published in 2023.
