After securing the Rathbones Folio Mentorship Program in 2018, Henna was commended in Hive South Yorkshire’s 2019 Young Writer’s competition and is featured in the First Story and Rathbones Folio Prize 2021 anthology The Day is Fresh.

She is currently studying History at the University of Leeds where she was the editor of the 2021/22 historical magazine History Student Times. In 2022, she worked on a number of Channel 5 TV shows, including being a Junior Researcher on a new factual entertainment series, Digging For Treasure.
