Emily Pritchard is a poet and critic. Her poems are published or forthcoming in Poetry Birmingham, Blackbox Manifold, Oxford Poetry and Magma, and she was specially commended by Raymond Antrobus for the Wasafiri New Writing Prize 2020.
Emily has taken part in the Roundhouse and BBC Edinburgh Fringe poetry slams, and hosted Slay on Words slam in York. She has worked as a reviewer at Durham Book Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, and runs poetry workshops for children and adults.
She recently finished an MA in Poetry and Poetics at the University of York, writing her dissertation on butch poetics.
