Saba Sams has been shortlisted for the Edge Hill University Short Story Prize.

Saba’s collection Send Nudes is up for the prestigious award, which is now in its 16th year and is the only national literary award to recognise excellence in a published, single-authored short story. The winner will receive a £10,000 prize.

There is also a £1000 Readers’ Choice Award to be presented. The winner will be announced in November. This year’s judges are the 2021 Kevin Barry, literary development agent Arzu Tahsin and Sarah Schofield, writer and lecturer in Creative Writing at Edge Hill University.
