Libby Works with George House Trust
Squad writer and Coordinator Libby was asked to host a series of writing workshops for women around the theme ‘This is Me’ for the charity George House Trust starting in October. George House Trust supports HIV positive people in Manchester, fighting stigma and raising awareness.
After a series of workshops and a half day of rehearsal, the programme culminated on 19th November in a ‘Stepping Out’ event for an invited audience. The women did a ‘catwalk for power’ and shared their stories in an emotional, powerful celebration of their whole identities.
