Katie is a Britten Pears Young Artist
Katie Byford has been selected as the poet-in-residence on the English Song Course at Britten Pears Arts.
This course is designed to help early-career singers and collaborative pianists who want to really dive inside English song, collaborate with other like-minded emerging artists and challenge their own perceptions of the song repertoire.
Britten Pears Arts have chosen an exciting group of over 50 outstanding early career artists who will benefit from the opportunities in the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme (BPYAP) this year. They are drawn from all around the world and will be welcomed to Suffolk throughout the year to connect and be mentored by the world’s best performers, creatives and teachers.
