Helen and Prerana Commended for Verve Poetry Competition

Prerana Kumar and Helen Bowell have both been commended in the 2021 Verve Poetry Competition.

The theme this year was BEGINNINGS, and was judged by Caroline Bird. Helen and Prerana were amongst 21 commended poets, all of whom will feature in Verve’s annual competition anthology, published by Verve Poetry Press.

There will be a free event featuring all of the winning and commended poets on the 20th February in 2022, celebrating the work and launching the anthology. The event will be hosted by Caroline, and can be attended in person or watched via livestream. Details here.
