It’s Alright MA, we’re still writing

An afternoon of poetry with Kate Boston-Williams, Elaine Cusack, Tallulah Howarth and Greg Freeman

Kate, Elaine, Tallulah and Greg met in 2023 as mature students on Newcastle University’s MA in Writing Poetry course. The experience of returning to academia after many years affected their writing and their lives.

The four friends celebrated their graduation in December 2025 and at this event, will reflect on shared experience and read poems from their studies and beyond.
