Karishma is a poet currently based in Essex. She has featured at poetry events across the U.K such as Heaux Noire, Bright Smoke and DiVerse. Her work appears in SLAM! (Pan Macmillan, 2020), as well as magazines such as Ink Sweat and Tears, JADEN and The Selkie.

She was recently shortlisted for the 2021 Aurora Prize for Writing and commended in the Young Poets Network Erasure Poetry Challenge. Karishma has also interned at Yale University Press and is one of the co-founders of Keylime, a digital music journalism platform.
