Oenone Wirth is a poet. In 2022, she was announced as a winner of the Foyle Young Poets Award. That same year, she was awarded first prize in the Poetry by Heart speaking competition hosted at Shakespeare’s Globe.

She recently graduated with First-Class Honors in BA English Literature from the University of Manchester, where her creative writing portfolio earned her the Alun Lewis Prize for Outstanding Performance in Poetry. She is working towards producing her first short collection.
