Eli Yim is an actor-musician and writer based in Liverpool. Their work often focuses on mental health advocacy and LGBTQ+ acceptance through live performance.

As a performer and theatre maker, they are currently represented by RbA Management and have trained with Merseyside Academy of Drama, New Earth Theatre, British Youth Music Theatre, and Liverpool’s Everyman & Playhouse. They completed their Music BA at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2025 and have since performed with organisations including Lapland UK, Off Topic Theatre, and Not That Asian Theatre.

As a writer, they create scripts, songs, and poems. Eli’s current project is their autobiographical gig theatre show The Easy Way Out, written about their mental health crisis in 2024. Its first work-in-progress performance was in LIPA’s Paul McCartney Auditorium, followed by a five-night run at Buxton Fringe Festival 2025 where it was shortlisted for the New Writing Award. In 2026 it has since been developed into a full-length studio production that has performed at multiple venues around the North, with the show’s original 8-song soundtrack preparing for release.
