Billie announced as finalist for Pentabus/Jerwood residency

Billie Collins has been named as one of the five finalists for the Pentabus Writer in Residence 2026 (supported by the Jerwood Foundation), out of almost 100 applications. Alumni of the programme include Simon Longman, Joe White, Tim Foley, Laura Waldren, Henry Madd, and Florence Espeut-Nickless.

The 2026 residency, beginning this Spring, provides a £12,000 bursary, a 6–12 month residency based in Shropshire, and support to develop at least one full-length play. Keep an eye out for Pentabus’s press release for further information.
