Lewis Brown
Lewis Brown is a Newcastle-based writer, proofreader, event facilitator, workshop leader, and slam-winning performance poet.
He has experience working with cultural venues to produce tailored events, such as Poetry Bites with the Biscuit Factory Art Gallery and Terror in the Tunnel with the Ouseburn Trust.
He is passionate about the queer poetry, neurodiversity and horror. In 2023, Lewis founded an online writing community called the Spooky Poet Club, and hosts poetry writing workshops both in-person and online.
He has been published in The Selkie, Far Off Places and Quotidian Literary Magazine, and performed at Newcastle Poetry Festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Royal Albert Hall.
