Hannah is a disabled poet and blogger who lives in the South Lakes area. She has over 2.4k followers on YouTube, and has blogged for festivals such as Ways with Words, Kendal Poetry Festival and Lakes Alive.
Her first poetry pamphlet ‘Dear Body’ was published by Wayleave Press in March 2018. She has won and been commended in a number of Poetry Society young people’s challenges. Hannah has had poems published in Under the Radar, The North, Acumen and Poetry Salzburg.
In 2018 Hannah was a finalist in Cumbrian Woman of the Year 2018, and she was also given a grant by the Reading Agency to run Poetry workshops (both online and in person), and enjoys working in schools and libraries.
Hannah’s essay surrounding Hospice and personal impact was announced as the runner up in the Wicked Young Writers Awards in June 2019. She is also a Breakthrough mentee, writing part of a graphic novel which will be published in October 2020.
She has given both careers advice talks in schools and blogging advice talks at literary festivals.
