Megan Jones is a prose writer based in East Yorkshire. In 2023, she was shortlisted for The Mairtín Crawford Award for Short Story and the Word Factory Northern Apprentice Award. She holds a BA in Linguistics and an MA in Creative Writing from Lancaster University, graduating with Distinction in 2022.
Her short fiction has appeared in publications including Reflex Fiction, Litro, Writers’ Forum, Seaside Gothic and Bending Genres, amongst others. Her writing can also be found in Aesthetica Magazine, Mag North, Atticus Review, The Publishing Post and Student Beans.
In October 2023, Megan began a PhD at the University of York researching the uncanny in weird short fiction. She is currently writing her debut short story collection.
