Jess Wood is a short story writer, novelist, blog runner, and professional project manager. Her writing tends towards the fantastical and her organising tends towards the spreadsheet. 

In the past she was the Treasurer of the University of Birmingham creative writing society, co-organising and rejuvenating the finances of two poetry nights: Grizzly Pear and Beorma Blah. She has been published in university publications at both Birmingham and Vancouver. She is also a previous winner of the Henrietta Brandford competition. 

She co-runs the current Squad 11’s Mini Goals meetings. She holds an APM Project Management Qualification and will be joining Steve and Libby in coordinating and directing the Squad as part of CORE2.
