
Eloise Unerman
Eloise Unerman is an experienced poet and creative facilitator based in South Yorkshire. She’s Barnsley’s Poet Laureate and currently studying a BA in Linguistics, Italian and German. Her previous awards include the Young Writers’ Award in the Northern Writers Awards 2017 and 1st place in the Ledbury Poetry Competition. Her work can be found in a number of publications, including Introduction X (The Poetry Business), Pennine Platform Magazine, and Ten Poems About Roses (Candlestick Press). She’s now taken a step back from competitions and publications to focus on teaching poetry in schools, publishing her first pamphlet, and exploring a nonfiction project about ghosts. When not writing, you can find her rollerskating, crocheting or appreciating Italian food.
