Daisy Costello
Daisy Costello is a prose writer from Newcastle upon Tyne. Starting in September 2025, she is a doctoral student in Creative Writing at Newcastle University; her thesis is entitled ‘Glaiky: Crafting an Autistic Voice from the Northumbrian Landscape’.
As well as writing about what it’s like to be autistic, Daisy writes speculative fiction. In 2024, she won a Northern Writers’ Award: Northern Promise TLC for her in-progress feminist-speculative novel, Dollface.
