Louise’s New Women

Louise Page has launched a podcast exploring the lives of Mabel Normand, Rosa May Billinghurst and Helen Keller through an “unsanitised” fictionalised retelling of true events. The BBC has featured the podcast, interviewing Louise about the impetus to create it, and the importance of making room for conversations about disability and ableism within feminism.

New Women was adapted for podcast for Disability Arts Online’s Covid Commissions Programme, and was produced by Clear Voice Enterprises.  You can listen to the series here.
