Katie Walters and the Herbert’s Daltry Collection

Katie Walters has been awarded a micro-commission from Coventry UK City of Culture as part of their Reform the Norm partnership with Unlimited.

For their commission, Katie has been using sculpture-making to explore a little-seen collection at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum.

The Daltry collection contains over 15,000 specimens of British moths and insects, which – due to their fragility – will never be publicly displayed. Katie has been using sculpture to bring this fascinating collection into the public eye.
