Katherine Joins Wakefield Literature Festival

Squad 10’s Katherine Carr has joined the Programme Board for Wakefield Literature Festival.

The festival is ‘by young people, for young people’, and so far Katherine has hosted events including an online panel discussion about Writing in the North, which featured publishers Bluemoose and Fox and Windmill.

Katherine’s piece of flash fiction Maggots is also available to read on the Wakefield Literature Festival blog. It is an extract from a new project exploring the horrors of white feminism against the backdrop of dark academia.
