James and Future Fires

James Varney has been selected for the Contact Theatre 2022 Future Fires cohort. 

James is one of five artists taking part in the programme, which  over the course of the next twelve months will see the artists helm their own socially engaged community projects.

James’ project is titled ‘We Live Here.’ It’s a series of workshops co-created with his fellow Hulme residents, focusing on their relationship to the city and how they feel about the ways it is built and rebuilt.
