There Are Only So Many Ways You Can Talk About Fruit

An evening of performance to launch There Are Only So Many Ways You Can Write About Fruit: an anthology full of poetry, prose and artwork about fruit, with over twenty contributors from across the UK, and the American poet of acclaim, Skyler Witherspoon.

You can expect a mix of moving words, humour and food (fruit?) for thought.

The ticket price includes entry to the event and a copy of the anthology (usually £8.50 by itself) to take home. Please get in touch if you’d like to attend but the cost is a barrier. All costs go towards the printing and stocking/promotion of the book – any profit will be shared between contributors.

Starting promptly at 7 in the Shire Oak Hall room at the HEART Centre. If you’d like to take part in the open mic, please have fruit-themed poems prepared and sign up on the night.
