WRITING STOCKPORT

November 9, 2020 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

If you are 50+, live in Stockport and enjoy writing, then join our fortnightly online workshop led by Lydia Allison of the Writing Squad.

We meet on a Monday morning 10.30-12.00 and play with different forms and techniques to make new work and refresh our writing.

You will also get the opportunity for an in depth one to one session on whatever you are writing, with Steve Dearden the Director of the Writing Squad.

Suitable for beginners and experienced writers the workshops take place on Zoom (all you need is a computer and a link which we will send you.)

We won’t ask you write about Stockport, but you will meet other writers who live here.

The first in our new series of workshops will be on Monday 9th November.

Book your place here or for more information email steve@writingsquad.com

Comments from previous participants:

“As a relative newcomer to writing, I am amazed how much I have enjoyed and benefitted from everyone’s input. To think we only met a few weeks ago, I feel we are a really strong group.”

“You have all inspired me and Lydia, you have caused me to write in different ways I would never have done before.”

“Thanks to all of you for a bit of sanity in this increasing madness. I am really enjoying listening to everyone else’s work.”

The workshop is being offered as part of Stockport’s Cultural Champions programme.
