Annabelle Wins the Newdigate Prize

Squad 10 writer Annabelle Fuller has won the prestigious Sir Roger Newdigate Prize with her poem ‘Koinobionts.’

The Prize is awarded by the Faculty of English at Oxford University, and this year’s theme for entries was ‘Interruption.’

The Newdigate Prize is given annually for the best student poem of up to 300 lines. Previous winners of the prize include Andrew Motion and Rachel Piercy.
