Kym Deyn longlisted for Forward Prize
Kym has been longlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Single Poem (Written) for their Oxford Poetry Prize piece ‘Braag’
Judges of the Oxford Poetry prize called the poem “mordant, funny, and sharply political – a formally experimental, capacious reckoning with the cursed realities of landlordism and housing insecurity. In witty, surreal, and joyously fresh language, this poem fights to reclaim forms of solidarity, intimacy, and shared existence; the dream of a time ‘where money didn’t mean victory’.”
