Trinity Robinson
Trinity is currently based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. She achieved her BA in Media from Liverpool John Moores University in 2024 and is working on her MA in Film and Television Production from the University of Sunderland.
She is a writer and media maker, specialising in video editing and prose/poetry. Trinity is a published and award-winning poet and aspiring novelist. In 2018, she had the honour of winning the Rotary Club poetry competition for her region. In 2019, Trinity won the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award, becoming the first-ever winner from the Northeast. The experience allowed her to connect with talented poets from across the world and attend an enriching writing retreat at the Hurst. Her tutors, Raymond Antrobus and Mimi Khavalti, were instrumental in honing her craft.
Trinity’s poetry has been featured in notable publications, including Between These Shores Literary and Arts Annual, where she was recognised as their featured emerging poet, Bollocks to Brexit, and Pure Slush: The Beautifullest.
Trinity has been a video editor for several years and has amassed over six million views on YouTube. She has both written and directed several short films, and was president of Media Production at Liverpool John Moores in 2022-2023.
Trinity is currently a Media Teacher at Gateshead College.
As Trinity continues her journey as a writer, she’s passionate about expanding the boundaries of storytelling and supporting awareness of mental health and working-class experiences. Her stories are her ultimate passion in life, and sharing this passion with fellow creative minds is “a dream come true”.
