Boring Bankers!

Well thank goodness I agreed to host a residency by writers from the Writing Squad in our Manchester St Ann’s Square branch. I never knew banking could be so fascinating, even after 33 years!

I remember the first time I met the group. They fired questions at me I would never have dreamed of; the journey of the bank note, the life of the building service team, our experiences of customer deposit boxes, are just three that spring to mind. Questions seeking unexpected insights about everything other than banking!

Hosting the group proved to be a positive and memorable experience for my colleagues and we are now looking forward to meeting more Squad writers during 2014.

Must remember to collect their signatures before they leave this time, you never know!
