Lit Up Festival
Spotlight Theatre, Bridlington
Five Squad writers will be in residence for the whole of this year’s festival and you can hear them read at this event.
The line up:
Charlotte Wetton, whose first collection I Will Not Turn Into a Handstand is out from Calder Valley Press, winner of the Poetry Business Yorkshire Poem Award.
Lizzi Hawkins and Sarah Fletcher, winners of this years Poetry Business New Poets Award, together with Gregory Kearns who was highly commended by judge Andrew McMillan.
And finally Lydia Allison, currently studying an MA in Creative Writing at MMU with poems in the forthcoming edition of PN Review.
