Danny Broderick is the Course Director. He is permanently available on email for discussion of ongoing work and offers one to one support throughout the two years.

The Squad has two Associate Tutors, Patricia Duncker and Peter Sansom. Patricia is a novelist and Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Manchester. Peter Sansom is a poet and Director of the Poetry Business.

Patricia and Peter work with us two Squad days each. We choose our other tutors when we have an idea of the needs of Squad members. In the past we have worked with Susan Everett, Dorothea Smartt, Jean Sprackland, Ann Sansom, John Siddique,  Julia Darling and Gareth Creer. We also bring in international tutors  like Ashok Mathur, Hiromi Goto and Chenjerai Hove, and recently Tom Spanbauer and Michael Sage Ricci led a two day Dangerous Writing workshop for our prose writers.

Steve Dearden is the Project Director, making sure the Squad runs smoothly, and providing one to one support with writers and activists who have been through the two year programme.
